This revolution was what dismantled the Tsarist autocracy and lead to the rise of the Soviet Union. When Emperor Nicholas the second gave up his position as leader a provisional government was used but this was soon replaced by the Soviet Union. Vladimir Lenin was the First Soviet Leader. -
