    The USSR blocked all access to Berlin so everything and I mean everything had to be airdropped. Daily food req needed 2000 tons. They also needed 850,000 stacks of mutilated paper

    This is an Alliance of all Capitalistic nations due to WW2 and the planning for another war to not happen. also Warsaw was made due to NATO being made. NATO stands for National Atlantic Treaty Organization

    Started when North Korea invaded the South. around 5 mil soldiers and civilians have died in this war. also had a tv show about it called “M*A*S*H” lasted 1972-1983

    A war that the US joined in on to stop it from becoming communist and ultimately failed to do so. around 1mil vietnamese people died and 85,000 americans dead reason being is the fact that traps were used and so was napalm.

    Sputnik was a part of the space race of who can get something successfully in space and it works. It was the first artificial satellite Launched by the russians. also only beeped.

    The construction of the Berlin wall was a attempt on russia to get all everyone who isn't russian out of berlin so they could have it. lasted 30 years and was 27 miles long with towers, attack dogs and 55k landmines. It started with 4 stages barbed wire then improving the wire to the concrete wall then lastly upping the defences of the wall

    A confrontation between the USA and USSR during the cold war. This lasted 13 days of constant edge of war. This mainly started due to a U.S spy plane being shot down and the U.S had to confess to it being a spy plane
  • Moon Landing

    The first ever man on the moon was achieved and is a win in the space race for the US. This also spawned the famous quote “One small step for man, giant leap for mankind”. The first man to touch the moon was Neil Armstrong.
  • Destruction of the Berlin wall

    It started around 1961 August 13th and fell Nov 4th 1989. jFK was also quoted saying “A wall is a hell of alot better than a war”. at least 171 people was killed trying to get over the wall
