    Communist nations send people over to United States to steal datas from them and create themselves even better. Soviet was one of the communist nations who stole ideas and created much more powerful and efficient. The both nations wanted better superpowers and ended up creating competitions between them.

    The Marshall Plan

    Marshall plan was initially to aid Western Europe after World War II. Congress approved Truman's action to send 17 billion dollars to Europe for four years. The countries that were getting aid; Great Britain, France, West Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, and Belgium. Because of the aid it helped countries to come closer to one another. It built relationships. Got more support during the wartime.

    Berlin Airlift

    After World War II, Germany was divided into zones that controlled certain part of Germany. Stalin wanted more of Germany so they decided to create the curtain wall around eastern part of it. They also tried to stop the aid from U.S and kicking out United States from Germany so the Soviets can control more of Germany. Because of the curtain wall United States starts to aid through air. It avoided war between United States and Soviet. It happened before Cold War.

    North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
    It was created to protect countries within the NATO and weak countries. During the cold war countries helped one another gain more resources. It helped countries to keep up with the economy and military.

    The Korean War

    Invasion from North Korea to South Korea trying to reunite the country into one with communist government. United States stopped that from happening so it was less work for them to handle more communist parties. Because of the war United States and South Korea were able to stay in democratic government.
