Learn how different cloud-based technologies can be used to meet the client needs. We will be looking at the characteristics, benefits and drawbacks of these technologies, making sure their impact on individuals and organizations. We will be exploring the IIT needs of an company and how cloud storage and collaboration tools will meet the needs of that company. Lastly we will design and add a cloud based solution to meet a client's need. -

Recap of Last Lesson 10/09/2021
Last lesson we looked at the evolution of cloud computing which include distributed computing, mainframe computing, cluster computing and so on. We also looked at some key reasons why organizations may move to the cloud. Lastly looked at terms and what they mean in cloud computing such as on-demand service, resource pooling, measured services and so on. -
Conclusion of Lesson
In this lesson we looked at cloud computing and what it is and what it offers whether what hardware of software services are available to everyone. Cloud services models were also looked at such as SaaS PaaS and IaaS. We also looked at basic cloud characteristics where flexibility and elasticity were discussed and the costs of this. We then looked at virtualization and the purpose/benefits of it. Last, advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing was looked at. -
Recap of Last Lesson 17/09/2021
Last lesson we talked about service cloud and what it offers and how it offers. This included talking about Salesforce. We also discussed virtualization and gave pros and cons why businesses may use it. Lastly we talked about cloud services and gave reasons on why businesses would use it. -
Conclusion of Lesson
Today we did a network on Cisco Packet Tracer which consisted some routers, switches, and pc's for a physical build, logical build, and test pings on all local area networks, and turn on closed links in configuration. We then moved onto doing exercises which were to write down a functional description of PuTTY, HyperTerminal, and TeraTerm. -
Conclusion of Lesson
In this lesson we did a network on cisco packet tracer and looked at a video which was How to Configure SSH on a CISCO Router and Switch. We looked at domains, adding IP's to the pc's/switches/routers and completed the whole small network which taught us how to configure SSH on things. -
Recap of Last Lesson 24/09/2021
Last lesson we looked what is putty, hyper terminal, tera term and what they're used for, how they help us in the IT side of reality. We then moved onto packet tracer and created our own network which involved creating PC's, switches, routers and updating their networks such as doing the IP's and default gateways. -

In this lesson we looked at VPN configurations and watched a video on it to make a network on Cisco Packet Tracer and follow the video to configure a VPN on that network. -

In this lesson we did work on cisco netacad. I looked at cloud service models, cloud deployment models and shared responsibilities. We also looked at the assignment for cloud.
