img sourceinfo sourceThe Battle of Pozieres Ridge, was a 2 week struggle where the Germans were having a battle with the British Empire along Pozieres Ridge in the Village of Pozieres in France. The battle continued for 2 weeks. The fighting ended with the Allied forces in possession of the plateau north and east of the village, in a position to menace the German bastion of Thiepval from the rear. Lots of Australians have died in it. -
