Battle of Waterloo
The Battle of Waterloo took place in the vicinity of Waterloo, a town located about twenty kilometers south of Brussels.
On the one hand, the French army, under the command of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, and on the other, the British, Dutch and German troops led by the Duke of Wellington with the Prussian army of Marshal von Blücher. The result was the defeat of Napoleon that determined the end of the first French Empire
