Intolerable Act 1774
- Quartering act
- king jorge the 3rd sent over 4000 British solders to Massachusetts
- when these solders were in Massachusetts they had to stayed in peoples houses and they had to feed and pay for the solders
- the british also closed boston harbor and closed the Massachusetts goverment

- The french and English were at war
- they were both fighting for the Ohio valley land
- the native Americans tribes allied themselves with armies on both sides
- The first battle was in the summer of 1754 at Fort Necessity
- This fort was built by Gorge Washington

Proclamation of 1763
- the British promised the colonist there land but the broke their promise
- the colonist got some of their land taken away because they knew the native Americans were upset that they did not get land -The native Americans pushed the colonist back and made the proclamation line

Townshend Acts 1770
- the stamp acts
- the British started to tax the colonist on contracts, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, wills, and deeds.
- the colonist got really mad at the British and the colonist repealed the stamp act

- the tea pain
- the British were using the colonist to pay off the debt from the seven year war
- the British repealed the townshend act but not the tea act
