Border jumpers cause major civil unrest and many deaths. Showcases irreconsilable differences. -
Dred Scott Decision
Ruled that slaves had no rights. Outraged the North and gave South impugnity. -
Southern Secession
Act of open defiance by the South. Point of no Return. -
Firing at Ft. Sumter
First actual shot, but preceeded by muc more integral events.
