    The Undreground Railroad was the path that Harriet Tubman took when she freed slaves and took them to the North. The South wasn't happy about the Underground Railroad because their slaves were getting taken away but the North was happy because there was more business and some people from the North wanted the slaves to be free.

    The Fugitive Slave Act stated that all slaves had to be returned the their owners. THe South liked the Fugitive Slave Act because their slaves were returing. The North was not happy about the Fugitive Slave Act and afterwards many Norhterners were abolitionists.

    Uncle Tom's Cabin was a book about anti-slavery. The North loved the book because it gave them a chance to find out what was going on in the South. The South absolutely hated the book because it told the North what was going on with the slaves.
