    The Confederates easily won this battle.
    This was the first battle of the war. It encouraged a lot of Northerns to join the Union Army. After the battle Lincoln asked for 75,000 troops. By 1862, more than 700,000 men had signed up to fight.

    The confederate had a difficult win. This was the second battle of the war.Physcological victory for the south as is inspired confidence. It kept the union from going after richmond,the capital of the confederacy, for close to a year.

  • U.S.S Monitor Vs. C.S.S Virginia

    The Union won.The first battle experiment had used iron clad ships
