this battle lasted from the 16-18 of september. One of the days during this battle was the bloodiest single day in american military history. -

this battle lasted until july 4. this was a big union win because of the location of the fort they took on the bank of the mississippi river. -

This battle lasted until July 3. This was a major turning point of the war. It was looking good for the union with a union win. -
Shermans March
this lasted until december 21. they just marched and burned a few houses and thats all. this was a union victory because they didnt fight. -
The battle of Appomattox
This was the last battle of the Civil War. It was a union victory and the end of the actual war. There was still fighting because the word that the war was over could not get out fast enough.
