Emancipation Proclamation
-The Emancipation Proclamation was provided by President Abraham Lincoln.
-This proclamation announced that people held as slaves shall be freed.
-The Emancipation Proclamation only applied to the states that had separated from the US.
-This Proclamation didn't put a complete stop to slavery.

-This battle had more than 29,000 casualties altogether.
-The Generals were Ulysses S. Grant(Union) and Robert E Lee(Confederate).
-Both armies met in the Wilderness.
-Grant did not pull out of the fight.
