Dred Scott, the former slave who faught for his freedom, The court assumed that he was property and had no legal rights for himself. The Dred Scott decision then rose up and created political landscape. Southerners then renewed their challenges and agreed on territorial limitations. -
John Brown Raids
John organized a small army of whites and free blacks to seize weapons. He then wanted to distribute them to southern slaves. Although in the process of this he was caught by Robert E. Lee and was sentences to death. -
