  • Lincoln's Election

    'nough said.
  • Fort Sumter

South attacked a Union held fort, beginning the war.
  • Bull Run

Results disillusion the nation in regard to the length of the war.
  • Shiloh

You know what, read the rest of the Wikispaces.
  • Antietam

I mean really, why annotate these little things if I went to all of the trouble of making the rest of the project?
  • Fredericksburg

These little descriptions just serve as overkill, since the rest of the information is sitting on the smae web-page, right?
  • Emancipation Proclimation

Who in this class doesn't know what the, I don't know, Emancipation Proclimation is in the first place?
  • Gettysburg

Best as I can see is that either this assignment is meant to drill the information into the writer's skull and also help out the rest of the class a bit, or it's meant to just irritate us to the point where we lose all of our will to resist and therefore submit to whatever the teachers say during exam season.
  • Election of 1864

I could be looking into this whole thing too much though...
  • Lee's Surender

I tend to do things like that: overanalyze.
  • Lincoln's Assasination

It can get kind of annoying to other people, but then again it can be fun in regard to all of the random concusions I can draw. It's sort of like that game you play in which you try to get from one Wikipedia page to another seemingly unrelated topic as fast as possible, but I digress.
  • Thirteenth Amendment

Committed the U.S. to freeing all slaves and prevented any and all laws from protecting the practice of slavery in any way.
