Supreme court determined the united states constitution was not made for black people whether or not they where slaves or free. -
13th Amendment
Basically banned slavery of any kind except punishment for some sort of crime. -
14th Amendment
Anyone born in the united states is a citizen. Everyone who was born and is a citizen is gets all the immunities and privileges as normal. States also cannot pass laws to deny these privileges without do process of law -
15th Amendment
Gives any United states citizen the right to vote and it cannot be taken away do to race or color. -

Right of citizens to vote for any primary election or senator or member of congress cannot be denied by Federal or State Legislature. -

This was used so certain people had to pay a tax if they wanted to vote. This was abolished in the 24th Amendment -
