    Passed on by the congress on February 26 1869. Finally gave blacks or African Americans to vote. Not women
  • Tuskegee Institute created

    Founded by Booker T Washington in 1881 under Alabama legislature. For teaching teachers in training. New education place for blacks. Built their own buildings and made own food.
  • Plessy V.S Ferguson

    That all public facilities and the restaurants will be separated. Difference between whites and blacks.
  • NAACP

    National association for advancement for colored people. It's civil rights organization in the united states. Formed in 1909 and had some greats who led the country.
  • 19th amendment

    Women finally got to vote. It prohibits to all states that all women get to vote.

    Christian leadership where Martin Luther King was the first ever president.

    Was a movement that was founded in July of 1968. It was to solve issues of poverty and police brutality against native Americans. Fought for better lands on their property and they wanted to stop police brutailty.
