Morgan v Virginia

Briggs v Elliott
one of the 5 cases combined to make Brown v Board of Education. This case challegened segregation in Summerton, South Carolina. After a hollow victory, South Carolina later awarded Eliza Briggs its highest civilian honor, the Order of the Palmetto. -
BROWN V BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Supreme Court ruled against the seperate but equal doctrine in Brown v Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas and in Bolling v Sharpe. These rulings overturned Plessy v Ferguson. -
