Stand for Congress of Racial Equality was dedicated to making a change with peaceful confrontation. Founded by Pacifists in 1942. There protest were nonviolent. -
LULAC
Founded in 1929 demanded equal rights for Hispanics. A funeral home refused to bury Felix Longoria and the LULAC protested. Longoria was finally buried. -

After the Montgomery Bus Boycott he was just 26 years old and in a few years he would become one of the most loved and admired also most hated in the United States. He became the leader of the African American Civil Rights Movement. -
