Martin Luther King Jr. Assassination
Martin Luther King Jr. was an African American baptist minster and activist who became the most visible spokesman and leader in the American civil rights movement from 1955 until he was killed in 1968. James Ray assassinated him because he was racist. -
Fair Housing Act
It prohibited discrimination concerning the sale, rental, and financial of housing based on race, religion, and gender. -

Title IX (Nine)
A federal civil rights law passed as part of the education amendments of 1972. The law protects people from discrimination based on gender in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance.
