    This amendment allows all people especially African American people equally rights and liberty. This movement was a big step when it came to the rights of POC
  • 15th Amendment

    This means that all black people have the right to vote. This allowed black people to have a say in politics and all they things that go down. This was the first time black people had this right.

    This was the first time women's rights was introduced to the the bill of rights but it was not passed. This may not have been passed but now the idea of women's right has been introduced

    This is the law that was passed that when it come to race things would stay separate but equal

    This was made to protect black people.
  • 19th Amendment

    This right was passed to allow all woman to vote
  • Shelly v, Kraemer

    This was a law passed to help prevent from not selling a house to somebody because they are a black person
  • Brown v. Board of education

    The court ruled that segregated schools is a violation of the 14th amendment so they integrated
  • Rosa Park

    This is when the people began to boycott the busses. The NAACP worked with Rosa Park.

    This act was passed to prevent discrimination because of sex or race. This allows people to have equal opportunities

    This was a organization made to protect the woman and there rights
  • Green v. County School Board of New Kent County

    This gave the schools freedoms of choice to desegregate its school system
  • Swann v. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education

    This was made to speed up racely integration of public school in the United states.
  • Proposition 209 - California
