The Bill of Rights was the first ten amendments, promised to the anti-federalists by the federalists. -
11th amendment
The 11th amendment limits people in one state from suing another state. -
13th amendment
The 13th amendment banned slavery and forced labor unless as punishment for people in prison. -
14th amendment
The 14th amendment gives citizenship to all people born or naturalized in the US and gives everybody fair and equal protection. -
15th amendment
The 15th amendment gave all men the right to vote regardless of race. -
16th amendment
The 16th amendment gave the government the ability to collect income taxes without having to determine it by population. -
18th amendment
The 18th amendment banned alcohol in the US -
19th amendment
The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote. -
20th amendment
The 20th amendment moved the inauguration to January 20th so the president who didn't get voted (lame duck) had less time in office knowing he was getting kicked out. -
21st amendment
The 21st amendment repealed the 18th amendment which banned alcohol. -
22nd amendment
The 22nd amendment limited presidents to a maximum two term limit. -

The Vietnam War influenced the 26th amendment because if you are old enough to fight for your country you should be old enough to vote too. -
23rd amendment
The 23rd amendment gave people in Washington DC the right to vote. -
25th amendment
The 25th amendment listed the successors to the presidency if the president died. -
26th amendment
The 26th amendment lowered the voting age to 18 years old.
