    The Bill of Rights was the first ten amendments, promised to the anti-federalists by the federalists.

    The 11th amendment limits people in one state from suing another state.
  • 13th amendment

    13th amendment
    The 13th amendment banned slavery and forced labor unless as punishment for people in prison.
  • 14th amendment

    14th amendment
    The 14th amendment gives citizenship to all people born or naturalized in the US and gives everybody fair and equal protection.
  • 15th amendment

    15th amendment
    The 15th amendment gave all men the right to vote regardless of race.
  • 16th amendment

    16th amendment
    The 16th amendment gave the government the ability to collect income taxes without having to determine it by population.

    The 18th amendment banned alcohol in the US

    The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote.

    The 20th amendment moved the inauguration to January 20th so the president who didn't get voted (lame duck) had less time in office knowing he was getting kicked out.
