Wii
Christmas 2008 I remember my dad got a Wii. He had a ton of different games on there, from the retro classics to the new modern Nintendo titles. I remember watching him play with his friends, defending themselves from zombies or playing Super Mario Brothers together. I, personally, played a lot of Super Smash Brothers. It was a good way to vent out my frustrations. -
Computer
For Christmas 2010, my dad got me my first computer. I remember it was an old looking one, but he spray painted it pink and I was too young to care. I spent hours and hours playing games like Club Penguin and Webkinz and Moshi Monsters. Since I started on the computer at such a young age I have learned a lot from the internet, for better or for worse. -
Xbox One
After about two years of waiting, my dad bought an Xbox One. It opened me up to so many new games and genres. I had platformer, sandbox, RPGs... So many opportunities. It shaped me into the game lover I am today. -
Phone
In 2016 I got my first phone. I was the last person in my class to get one. It was an HTC 530 Desire in Blue and it was definitely a beginner's phone. It had many tech issues and I had to get it replaced by the manufacturer three times but I learned a lot about phones and phone software. -
Switch
For my birthday in 2019 my dad got me a Nintendo Switch. I love my Switch and I treat it like it's my baby. I have many good games on it, and most recently I purchased my favorite game, Stardew Valley, for the third time. I have spent many hours playing games such as Animal Crossing, Splatoon 2, Stardew Valley, etc.
