    Slavery existed through the Early 1600's to the late 1800's. And was finally ended at the end of the civil war.

  • Declaration of Independence

    The Declaration of Independence was signed by many heroes. It gaves us choice and freedom to speak and do a lot of things freely.

  • Martin Luther King Jr.

    Martin Luther King Jr. was the main leader of the civil rights movement. He won the Nobel Peace prize in 1964 for leading non-violent civil rights demonstrations. He was born in 1929 and very sadly passed away in 1968.
