    The first Europeans/ Hernando de Soto's' Spanish group came into contact with the Choctaw Indians/people.

    Toboca led 125 Choctaws to Hopewell/Keowee near Seneca old town in south Carolina to meet with the us representatives Benjamin Hawkins, Andrew Pickens and Joseph martin. As a Choctaw ceremonial Symbolism they named,adopted,smoked and performed dances to show appreciation.
