POMP Regiment Break-Through
In 1965, James Holland, Emil Freireich, and Emil Frei discovered a breakthrough in chemotherapy. They determined that using several different drugs in a cycle would make the stopping of the tumor more effective. This was called the POMP regiment, and is used a lot today in chemotherapy.
