    Archaic

    The Archaic were a tribe of Indians that existed form 10000-8000 B.C. They hunted in small game and caught fish,shellfish,and turtles. They also built small shelters, but they provided protection from the elements. Lastly, they used stone to make tools and arrow heads for hunting small game.

    Paleo

    The Early Paleo tribe was one of the tribes that lived in Georgia. Some the Paleo were named after the way they made their arrowheads like this tribe called the Clovis. The Middle Paleo faiurly follow in the Early Paleo footstep by creating a Lance arrowhead instead of a Clovis arrowhead. Therefore the Late Paleo made almost similar arrowheads to the Middle Paleo
  • 1000 BCE

    Woodland

    The woodland lived around 1000 B.C.-800 A.D.. The woodland were the first to build permanent building arrangements. They also built the first signs of burial mounds, they built them for spiritual purposes. There diet also conceited of sunflower seeds, goosefoot, and maygrass.
