Early Morning march
early morning of the ninth twenty slaves gathered near the Stono River In St. Pauls parish. Few whites encountered on the way and they were killed. They marched over ten miles and killed between 20-25 whites. in the afternoon 20-100 have been sent out on pursuits. By dusk 30 slaves were dead . -

After the Stono Rebellion white colonists started working on the Negro Act to try and help them limit their privileges. Slaves could no longer grow their own food, assemble in groups, earn their own money, or learn to read. Slaves had nothing. -
