The Assassination
At 10:13 pm, John Wilkes Booth shoots Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theatre. -
The Meeting
Booth meets with aspirators and plans assassination at around 8:00 pm. -
Lincoln's Arrrival
Lincoln arrives at Ford's Theater at 8:30 pm in his carriage with his wife. -
Booth Goes to the Saloon
Booth checked to see how much time he had left before it was time to harm Abraham and left to go to a saloon nextdoor at 9:00 pm. -
Lewis Powell
Powell attempts to kil Secretary of State Seward at 10:00 pm. In the procces, David Herold abandonded Powell becuase he got scared when he heard all of the people screaming. -
Dr. Leale
Dr. Leale tried saving Lincoln by sticking two of his fingers down his throat. This opened an airway and made Lincoln have a heart beat again. This also made his lungs suck in a breath, but Leale knew that he was going to die. -
Lucky Booth
Booth crossed the bridge leaving Washington to go to Maryland at around 10:35 pm to 10:45 pm. He had to act to make Cobb believe him and let him pass. -
Herold's Crossing
David Herold crossed the bridge leaving Washington to go to Maryland where John Wilkes Booth was. -
Boardinghouse
Lincoln was put into a boarder's house to die in a private place. People thought that the theatre was an entertainment place and they thought he shouldn't have died there. -
Stanton's Request
At 1:10 am, Edwin Stanton sent a request to the cheif of police in New York City. This was asking if he could send his best detectives to assist in the investigation of the assassinations. -
Dr. Mudd
Both and Herold came across Dr. Mudd's house in Maryland. Booth needed help with his injured leg, so he decided to stop there. Dr. Mudd treated his leg, but didn't know that he had assassinated the president. They had knew each other from before and Dr. Mudd didn't like Lincoln either. -
Booth's Injured Leg
Booth and Herold came across Dr. Mudd in Maryland and stayed at his place so he could treat Booth's injured leg. -
Lincoln's Death
Lincoln dies at 7:22 am and 10 seconds at the Peterson house. His wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, didn't want to see him after he died because she didn't want to become upset. -
Leaving Mudd's House
Dr. Mudd finds out that Booth killed the president and he decided to have Booth and Herold leave his house. Dr. Mudd offered to still help them on their journey to escape as long as they agreed to leave. -
Captain Cox
Booth and Herold hide out at Captain Cox's Place. -
Powell's Capture
Lews Powell walks to Surratt's boardinghouse and gets caught. -
Atzerodt's Arrest
George Atzerodt gets arrested for being part of John Wilkes Booth's plan. -
Corbett Fires
Bostion Corbett shot Booth while he was hiding in the Garrett's tobacco farm. Corbett was never demanded to hold his fire and he thought that Booth was getting ready to shoot the troops, so he fired. -
The Hanging
At 1:25 pm, Mary Surratt, Lewis Powell, David Herold, and George Atzerodt was hanged and they dropped to their deaths.
