    The Sugar Act was a tax on molasses and sugar importe by the colonists. It was made to help pay for a new army in North America that protected colonies from indian attacks. This act was purely to raise money. It was the first of its kind in the colonies

    The comitties of correspondance were formed to solve particular local problems. Samuel Adams formed a comitee in Massachusetts. They were also in the other 12 colonies. Often, once they solved the problem, they disbanded. The members got in touch with other colonies about how to challenge the newe British laws.

They were passed after the Stamp Act was repealed. the Acts took place in he American colonies. to resist the taxes, colonists refused to pay. the taxesThey were designed to collect revenue from the colonists in America by putting customs duties on imports of glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea.

    The boston Massacre took place in Boston. The Boston Massacre was the killing of five colonists by British soldiers. The British were unwelcome in Massachusetts. A Patriot group began throwing sticks , stones, and other things at the British soldiers. This angerd the soldiers casuing them to shoot. The two british soldiers were eventually found guilty for man slaughter. This event was a signal for what was to come, the Revolutionary War.

    The Tea act was originally nt supposed to raise revenue. It was designed to prop up the East India Company which was doing bad financially and they had eighteen million pounds of unsold tea. The Tea was supposed to be sent to the Colonies. This angered the colonists becaused they believed it was another attemp to up taxes and hurt the merchants business. therefore, the colonists in philladelphia and New York turned the ships around.

    The Boston Tea Party took place in Massachusetts when patriots dressed as Indians boarded 3 ships and emptied 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. In total, the Tea that was dumped into the Boston harbor would have been worth 1,000,000 dollars today. The Boston Tea Party led to the Intolerable Acts.

    the 1st continental Congresss was made up up of 55 delegates. all of th colonies were represeted except georgia. they met in reaction to the coerive acts. They all went o philladelphia where they cme up with a plan of action.

    The Intoerable Acts were passed as a response to the Boston Tea Party. Some of the involed things were that only British ships could come in the Boston Harbor, the colonists had to feed and house British troops, British Ofiicals could not be tried in colonial courts, the British governer was in charge of all town meetings in Massachusetts, and the canadian borders were expanded. These Acts were passed by King George.
