The first concentration camps were instated when Hitler became the chancellor of the Nazi party in 1933. During the war they were places where people considered “sub-human” by the Nazis were put and forced to work under harsh conditions, starved, tortured and killed. Pearl Harbor
The Japanese launched a calculated attack against the American air and naval forces in the pacific, specifically the planes and ships stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The attack caused the U.S. to declare war on Japan the next day and began the United States involvement in the war. -
