    The Silk road was used to transport goods to the west.It shared goods and cultural ideas with Rome and China civilizations.Silk road got its name because of the good that was frequently being transported through there.

    End of Silk Road

    This ended when people found out that you can sail around the tip of Africa for a faster and safer transportation.

    During 500 AD Turkish speaking nomads began to invade the areas near the silk road.They did this because they knew that those areas thrived with all the resources traveling from place to place.
