Sugar and Molasses act
This act lead to the increase of tax on sugar and molasses. This was taxed because many people bought this product and the government needed the tax money. -

This act lead to paper money and the power to print paper money. Colonist were mad a Great Britain and thought it was unfair. -

This lead to America dividing into many parts. This is because colonies wanted to collect taxes from anyone that is in that area. Many colonist were upset. Many decided to ignore this act. -
Stamp Act
This act was used to tax people on paper. They decided to tax everything. This act helped a lot because the British Empire was in debt. -
Quartering Act of 1765
This act lead to taxing. This was because the soldiers needed a place to say and to eat. The money that was gained from the taxes were used for the soldiers. -
Townshend Acts
This act brought many different acts back. Taxes were put on many items. Because of this colonist started riots and said they were doing to spark justice. The colonist also started to boycott. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was an event that happened on Boston and lead to five deaths. This is called a massacre because of propaganda. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was an event that happened when demonstrators disguised as Native Americans threw the tea off the boat. This was a protest against the tea act. -

This was about a meeting about many acts. Colonist from Georgia were very upset because their colony did not go to the meeting. Someone else had to make the choice for the colony. -
Intolerable Acts
This act was here to punish people for bad things. This was mainly for the Massachusetts colonist that were in the Boston Tea Party. -
Lexington/Concord
Many battles were taken place in Lexington and Concord. Mostly these battles were important. These battles were fought for independence.
