    The Sugar Act was an act that placed a tax on al sugar goods to raise revenue for the British parliament. The Stamp act placed a tax on all paper goods on the colonists. The quartering act made it so that colonists had to let British troops stay with them and had to provide them with necessities. The Townshend act placed taxes on things like glass, paints, and paper to get more revenue from the colonists.
