The French and Indian War
The War was between France,Indians vs the British. This war was faught for land between Virginia and Canada. -
Sugar Act
This act taxed the merchants in the colonies on certain goods including foreign molasses and anyone caught smugling goods would be tried in court with one judge. -
Stamp Act
This was an act to tax all printed items like newspapers,documents,playingcard,ect. -
Townshend Act
This act taxed all imported British goods and also placed a tax on tea. -
Boston Massacre
A mob of colonists taunted at the british soldiers and so the the British soldiers opened fire on the crowd. -
Boston Tea Party
Rebels disguised as native americans dumbed the tea into the Boston harbor. -
Inolerable Acts
This act made the colonists to house the British soldiers and it also shut down the Boston Harbor. It also mad a British general the governor of Massachusets. -
First Continental Congress
56 Deligates met in Philadlphia to make the colonial rights. -
Battle at Concor and Lexington
The British heard about the the guns and were sent to go get them. The minutemen faught back and shed lost of British blood. They held Boston under siege. -
2nd Continental Congress
The colonies were hoping for peace so the sent a pentition to urge the return to"the former harmony".
Goerge refused to listen. -
