Treaty of Paris (1763)
The Treaty of Paris ended the French and Indian War. It was located in Paris, France in 1763. After the war the British taxed the colonists to pay for the war. The French lost all of the land, Spain got all lands west of Mississippi, and England got all French lands in Canada -

The colonists protested that the British were trying to trick them into paying tax. December 16, 1773 Boston Patriots took everything into their own hands. They dressed up like Indians and dumped all the British tea into the harbor
