The colonist had to pay for the tea and they we not happy. They didn't want the parliament to give one country the power to sell. -

The colonists dressed as Indians and threw tea off of the English ships. They were made about the taxes. -
Intolerable Acts
England was determine to show the colonist who was boss. You were not allowed to have trial in your own town. You had to come back to England. -
French and Indian War
British and French built colonies in North America. They fought over the land and traded with the Native Americans. The British won. -
First Continental Congress
The sons of liberty set up a community and prepared to attack the colonist. Paul Revere was the first to warn the colonist. -

Paul Revere woke up and warned the colonist that the regulars were coming. He woke up enough minute men that they were ready to fight. -
Battle of Lexington and Concod
One night, hundreds of British soldiers marched to Boston. Paul Revere signaled all of the minute men to fight and they were ready to fight. Colonist one the battle. -
Battle on Bunker Hill
British won but it took them three groups of reinforcement. Colonist began to throw rocks because they ran out of ammunition. -
Second Continental Congress
George Washington chose to build an army and build the Olive branch Petition. It was unsuccessful.
