The Meeting
Katniss is greeted by capitol officials and told to enter the office to find President Snow in front of her. They talk ahwile and discuss the problems she has started fuses upon. In the end, we learn that he knows everything. -
The Murder in District Eleven
After having a long speech regarding Peeta and Katniss's victory and how money will be given to the tributes families, Katniss adressed the tribute's families with sayings of respect and thanks. Thats when a four-toned mockingjay tone emerged from the crowd. This caused all of the citizens to lift their three fingers as a sign of respect and a sign of hope (according to president snow.) The peacekeepers acted quickly by bringing the old man who had tweeted and put a bullet through his head. -
The Rejection
After Katniss had gone through seeing the murder, she continued her victory tour. In addition she had also engaged Peeta so President Snow would be satisfied. After getting all the way to the capitol after visiting all 11 districts, Katniss shook his hand and asked with the movement of her eyebrows, "Was it enough?". He had given a smile, along with a grim shake of his head. -
The First Uprising
As Katniss talked with Madge, Madge's father had called for her to come downstairs. After Madge had left Katniss was curious about a sound she had heard from the mayor's office. As she opened the door, she looked upon the screen of the office computer to see a massacre in progress in District 8. Exactly what she was supposed to disfuse. -
The Quarter Quell
After being whipped across the face by the whip, trying on wedding dresses, and finding the fences are alive with electricity again, Katniss watches the announcement of the quarter quell. What she witnesses can't keep her from losing it. Every victor from earlier hunger games will be reaped for the quarter quell. -
Hangman
After days of training, the tributes are called upon to show off their skills to judges and sponsors. After Peeta (Who painted Rue in the arena, which we learn later on), Katniss enters the room and notices there's a force field in front of the green room, regarding last year's incident. She finds the paints been tampered with (Peeta or the Morphlings). After gathering a dummy and crafting a noose, Katniss throws over the dummy by a post and writes on "Seneca Crane." -
The Arena
After rising upon the platform, Katniss finds the arena to be full of water. It doesn't say it in words, but Katniss defenitley knows it was arranged this way to show her the capitol owns her, for "This is no place for a girl on fire." -
