Holden is drunk
After making plans, Meets Carl Luce at The Wicker Bar on 54th Street. The two have an argument. Holden gets very drunk at The Wicker Bar after Carl left. Holden then decides to call Sally Hayes and pretend his gut is "full of bullets." In the men's room, some flitty guy cautions Holden to go home. -
