Napoleon Saves the French
The French were not doing great in the revolution so a guy named Napoleon comes in as emperor. This is big for the French. he eventually he leads the French to victory. Sadly he was captured and died on a island. -
Tennis Court Oath
All three of the estates got together to talk about there troubles and then vote at the end. The 1st and 2nd estate always votes together so the 3rd estate always loses. The 3rd estate responds by leaving and goes to set up a new government. They meet in a tennis court and made, the Tennis Court Oath. Which is there constitution. -
Storming the Bastille
The 3rd estates first raid was the Bastille, which is a prison in Paris for those who made the king angry. It was also a symbol of authority. They got weapons from the prison and they also killed the commander and took it over. -

The French revolution began because the 3rd estate was upset at 1st and 2nd estate. they were mad because the 1st and 2nd estate didn't have to pay taxes and the 3rd estate didn't have much food and money. -
Louis and Marie Antoinette Try to Flee France
The King and Queen get captured and taken to Paris as prisoners for three years until they try to escape dressed as servants and governess. They fail to escape almost at the border by someone in the town they were passing. They are now seen as traitors. -
The Reign of Terror
during this time the leader was Maximilien Robespierre. Robespierre went crazy with the guillotine by killing a hole bunch of people. many people were very scared that they were going to die. This leads to Robespierre getting decapitated by it.
