    Killing Shepherd
Back in Russia, Price and Soap encounter a new threat, Makarov. They find out the date of an arms deal and decide to raid it, during the raiding, they learn that Lt. Gen. Shepherd is the real enemy and they switch missions to kill Shepherd instead. While in pursuit, Soap and Price get separated, Soap finds Shepherd first, and gets stabbed in the process. Before Soap is killed, Price tackles shepherd and fights him. Meanwhile, Soap pulls out the knife and throws it at Shepherd's eye, killing him.
  • Death of Soap

    Death of Soap
Still on the hunt for Makarov, Price sneaks into a hotel while Soap gives sniper support across the street. Makarov knew there would be sniper support, so the hotel and building across the street were both rigged with C4, which Makarov soon detonated. Price manages to escape, but finds Soap on the ground with a pile of debris on him, which have re-opened his old knife injury from Shepherd. This sadly is where Soap's story ends, as he bleeds out while Price tries to stop the bleeding.
  • Killing Shepherd

This exhibit shows Lieutenant General Shepherd on top of Price, nearly beating him to death. This short-lived scene in the game is from the view of Soap, who briefly still has vision before he fades away, has already pulled the knife out of his body and thrown it into Shepheard's eye. • Death of Soap

This next exhibit shows a deceased Soap after the explosions, who is lying on a table with Price standing over him, placing his infamous M1911 pistol on his chest. This is one of the few times we view Price get emotional with another member of his team. This shows that Price is indeed human and can get emotional when something big happens. Picture Cite:

  • Killing Makarov

    Killing Makarov
Price and Task Force 141 raid Makarov's hideout and manage to get onto the roof just in time for Makarov to escape. Price makes an epic sprint to the helicopter and manages to get on it just in time. Before Price is able to kill both pilots, one of them destroyed the helicopters controls, causing it to crash on the roof. After Price wakes from his daze, he manages to get over to Makarov, wrap cables around his neck, and toss him through the glass roof, with the cables choking Makarov to death.
  • Killing Makarov

In the final exhibit, we can see Makarov hanging by the cables that Price wrapped around his neck. This marks an amazing end to Price's redemption mission from the Shepherd incident, and for his friend Soap, who Makarov killed earlier in the game. Picture Cite:
