The Democracratic powers (Allied powers) won the war against the Fascists(Axis Power).Europe already surrendered and only Japan was left.Then,after attempts of 2 atomic bombs, the Japanese finally surrendered.This was the first war that Canada, was known as a strong indenpendant country and played a significant role in the Allied victory. -
The United Nations is officially created
The United Nation, purpose was to be a peacemaker and peacekeeper for other countries.Canada was one of the founding members of the UN.The color for the Un, is the color ligth blue, which represents peace and it also looks calm looking too. -
Creation of (NATO)
It is also known as the 'North Atlantic Treay Organization'. NATO is a democratic party, which still exist and is a military allience.Its purpose is to stop the spread in North Atlantic, communism.Also the UN was not involved in this party.Canada was part of this organization. -

Chairman Moa introduces Communism.He is also known as the father of chinese communism. This gave China a political shift, which Canada did not follow. -

The invasion of North Korea on South Korea was the first act, that happened ever since the establishment of the United Nations.Many countries were some how part of the war.During the Korean War, Canada, was to keep peace and contain communism to not to spread.Canada supported South Korean and many Canadian soldiers were involved. -

While, the Soviets took over Afghanistan, about a million of Afghans lost their lives.The USSR, wanted control and power in this countr,so many Afghans fleed the country.Not only did many Afghans, lost their lives but also many Soviets too.In conclusion the USSR withdrawed from Afghanistan.Canada was not involved.
In 2004, many Canadians were involved in a war in Afghanistan, which we decied as a country to be part of to help the USA and the innocent Afgahans,who were under a fascist dictator. -

In a few German areas, Communism became to die down.There were some opened ways for East Germans to flee to the West.Then an announcement was made, of toring down the Belrin Wall.
