Present at an elementary principals meeting. Give overview of what the CakeWalk program entails. -

Contact principals to identify those schools that are interesting in piloting the CakeWalk coding program at their site. -

Meet interested principals in discussing the details and identifying a pilot teacher that will work with Bhavini in running the after school coding program -
CakeWalk Teacher Meeting
Conduct an initial meeting with all selected teachers from the interested sites. Give an overview of the program. Go over dates, times, commitment and support that will be provided for the teachers who pilot this program -
Teacher Meeting
Train teachers on the program and curriculum. Provide unplugged lessons and access to coding programs. Give permission slips and letter of introduction to send home to parents at the site. Distribute promotional materials around campus to help enlist students for the pilot coding program. -
Launch 1st Class
Launch first day of coding class. Visit classrooms at school sites. Give an introduction to the program. Set rules, expectations, and support teachers do their first unplugged coding lesson. Enroll all students in our district coding game. Introduce students to the Alludo Platform. -

Run CakeWalk Program
Teachers will continue to run the after school coding club (Cakewalk) for an 8 week cycle. All the content and curriculum will be built into the Alludo Platform for the duration of the program -

Meet with pilot teachers. Review successes and areas of support. Continue or alter lesson design. Make updates to the program based on teacher feedback. -
