It was a year with an outbreak by the French Revolution. The Catholic Church knew the authority of the pope as the head of the church, about 28 million of France’s population were almost entirely catholic. -
Louis Tries to Escape
Louis and his family all escaped from Paris, France so they could run away from Austria to get away from the violence. They all set out in a carriage to head out for the border, which ended up for Louis and the royal family to be guillotined. (sentenced to death) -

The Legislative Assembly was a national parliament of France, which was of France during a part of the Revolutionary period. During the second republic the Assembly lasted from May 28, 1849 to December 2, 1851. -
France Declares War on Austria and Prussia
France declared war on Austria and Prussia because the European Monarchs were eyeing suspicion on France, they have overseen the overthrow. -
National Convention
The National Convention was elected to provide a new constitution, they wanted to overthrow the royalty. It was numbered to have about 749 deputies which include businessmen, many other important men. -

The factions that spited up France was caused by many reforms that were occurring in France during the time. Austria and Prussia encouraged France to restore their government and change it to an absolute monarchy. -
Louis XVI Executed
Louis XVI was imprisoned as well as his wife and children (The whole royal family). He was to go to the guillotine the next day to be executed, he has also been overthrown from the throne after trying to escape to Austria. -

The Committee of Public Safety was formed during one of the crises of the Revolution, which was beset by foreign and the Civil war. It gives defence the nation against its enemies. -

Robespierre assumed control by becoming leader of the Committee of Public Safety. Robespierre’s job as leader of the committee was to protect its enemies from the revolution -
The Directory
The Directory was associated with the French Revolutionary government, which was set up by the Constitution during the year III. The Directory lasted four years from 1759-1799, It was with 250 delegates and a list of five hundred. -
Reforms of Napoleon (Lycees, Concordat, Napoleonic Code)*
The Reforms had a demand for codification to proceed with Napoleonic era. It had a certain diversity of laws which was the characteristics for the legal order and the Roman Law. -

Napoleon became emperor in Notre Dame in a Cathedral, which is located in Paris and was crowned and given the name Napoleon I. He was the first Frenchman who held the title of emperor, Napoleon was very well known as a very great strategist. -

Russia was known as an ally towards Napoleon and the French since they had no territorial conflicts. Troops all over Europe first entered into Russia on June, 24, the goal was to win a quick victory towards Czar Alexander to the negotiating table. -

Hundred Days was a part of French history, it was known as the same exact date when Napoleon arrived in Paris. It was less than a year following Napoleon’s abdication, he left his own island, he lead about 1,500 men to march at once upon Paris.
