The Constitution was created in Philadelphia, Pa. The document was then signed later that day. The Constitution had layed down a strong foundation and replaced the disastrous articals of confederation. -
Indian Removal Act. 1830
The Indian removal act was a bill signed in 1830 that made it legal for the indians to be moved from their homes to the west. The indians were moved westward to create room for the growing U.S. This made room for the U.S. to grow with easy, leading to more of the plantations in the south that changed the country. -

The California Gold rush was when a large number of people moved to California. They Moved to california in search of gold. Many didn't find the riches they came for. The people who made the most money in California were the merchants. The Califronia gold rush impacted the coarse of America deeply. It had made the economy rise, Also it gave way to movign people west. From the gold rush america gained wealth and population. -
The fall of Richmond
The fall of Richmond VA occurred in April of 1865. The south its burned arsenals and other government building, The union forces later got to Richmond to find it already burnt. This changed the war becuase the south lost its important capital, lossing its structure and order. further more, ending the civil war. -
lincoln's assasination
Lincoln, on April 14th 1865, went to ford’s theatre to celebrate the end of the civil war. John Wilkes Booth shot Lincoln with a derringer pistol. Lincoln later died that day.This event influenced reconstruction in the south because the assasination angered the north changing the south forever. -

The Chinese Exclusion Act
The Chinese Exclusion Act was passed by President Chester A. Arthur. This Banned Chinese imigrants to the U.S. for 10 years. This Bill was inacted in 1882 and spanned for 10 years afterward. This kept mainly Chinese from getting into California through Angle island. This was to keep jobs open for the irish and other imigrants that were angry with the chinese stealing jobs. This changed the discrimination of Chinese in The U.S. in many ways. -
Ellis Island Opening
Ellis Island was first open in 1892, It was one of the first imigration stations in the U.S. This first imigrant to pass through was named Annie Moore. It is located off the harbor of New York near the Statue of Liberty. This Island gave America a semi-safe population boom. -

America was thrown into World War 2 with the japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, HI. This then lead to America joining the war in Europe. The war with Japan had been ended with the dropping of 2 atomic bombs in Japan after hitlers forces had been crushed in the west. -

An Atomic bomb wa sdropped in Hiroshima, Japan. This bomb was dropped by the airplane name Enola Gay after one of the crew members mother. The dropping of the bomb evidently ended the war with Japan inevitably endding World War 2 -
Cuban Missile Crisis
We were at war with russia at this time and russia had seen that we had nuclear weapons near Russia, so Russia had allied with Cuba and placed nuclear weapons in Cuban hich is only ninety mile away from the U.S.. This event had ruined our relationship with Cuba and it also lead to the envargo on Cuba which is still around today. -

I was born in Lockhaven, PA. My family is all from the north west area of Pennsilvanna, first came from Germany. Today as an 8th grader I like working with technology, hanging out with freinds, and music. -
Terrorist Attacks on America
Terrorists attacked the world trade center in newyork city. Also terrorists flew planes into the pentagon and a plane was heading for the white house but was crashed into a feild in PA. These attacks started the wars in Iraq and Afganistan and also made the U.S. tighten its homeland security.
