Brown v. Board of Education
In the 1950's, schools were segregated by race. The Brown family believed that the school was violated the Fourteenth Amendment and they took the case to court. So they were awarded that blacks could go to the same schools as whites. -
Board of Education v Rowley
The Rowley file suit in the School District in Southern District of New York. She wanted free appropriate education. Thy were granted the educatin that Rowley needed. -
Honig v.Doe
Honig v Doe had violated the Education for All Handicapped Children Act. The state had to provide services for students wth disabilities when local school boards fail to do so. Thesuit took place because a child with disabilities to stay in their same educational placements.
