When the slaves started to rebel the crew was foursed to fire at them killing eight slaves and wounding many others. -

The Brown brothers said that they were disappointed that so many of their slaves died an didn't make a profit off of them but was happy that their friend (Captian Hopkins) was alive and well along with the Sally.
