    Navigation Acts
    The purpose od the act is directed the trade between England and the colonies. It also prevented from sending certain goods. The outcome of the act is the Colonist first accsepted but then they resent it. Merchants wanted to make there own goods and sell them. Some colonists ignred it and smuggled with other Nations.
  • Proclamation Act

    Proclamation Act
    The purpose of the act is they set the Applachin Mts. as teporay western boundry for the conlonies. The outcome of the act was it angerd speclator's because they already bought and they were furious that Britain ingroned there land claims
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The purpose of the act was to lowe the tax on imported molasses. Let officers seize goods from smugglers without going to courts. The outcome of the act was the sugar act and the new laws to control smuggling angered clonists. Writs of assistance violated their right to be secure in their naes. Vice-acliraty courts violated their right to a jury trial.

    The pupose of this act is stated that Parliament had he right to tax make decisions for the British colonies "in all cases".
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    The purpose of this act was the new taxes would apply aonly to imported goods such as glass, tea, paper, with the tax being paid at the Port of Entry. The outcome of this was that they believed that only their own representatives had the right to tax them. The colonists organized another boycott throughtout the colonies. Women formed groups, sometimes called Daughters of Liberty. they arged Americans to wear homemade fabrics and produce oher goods they needed rather then buy British goods.
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    The purpose of this act was to allow the company a virtual monopoly sole control of the trade for tea in America. The act let the company sell tea dinectly to shopkeepers and bypass colonial merchants who normally distributed the tea. The outcome of this was the colonial merchants called for a new boycott. Colonist vowed to stop the East India companys ships from unloading. The Daughters of Liberty issued a pamplet declaring that rather than part with freedom"we'll part with our tea".

    Intolerable Act
    The pupose of this act is it intened to punish the eople of Massachusetts for their resistance to British law.Coled Bosten Harbor until the Massachusetts colonists paid for the ruined tea.Prevented that arrival of food and other supplies that normally came by ship,the laws took away ceritan rightsThe outcome of this is the colonists held that the coeicive acts violated their rights as Eglish citizens these rights ineluded no quartering of troops in private homes and no standing army in peacetime
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    The purpose of this act was to set a government for Quebec, and gave Quebec the area west of the Appalachians and North of the Ohio River. This provision ignored colonial claims to the area. The outcome was the colnists expressed their feelings in their name for the new laws- The Intolerable acts.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The purpose of the act placed a tax on almost allnprinted material, including new papers, wills, and playing cards. All printed materials had to have a stamp. British officals also applied the stamps sfter the tax was paid.The outcome was that Samuel Adams from Boston helped startan orgazatoin called the sons of Liberty to protest the stamp act. People in other cities also organized the Sons of liberty groups. Protest burned effigies- rag figures- representeting tax collectors and destrayed hous
