Meeting Dill- Chapter 1 page 4
Scout and Jem meet a young boy that goes by the nickname Dill. Dill is the age of seven and is a very adventurious boy. He is very interested in the Radley House. This is an important event because Scout and Jem meet a new friend who might end up getting them in trouble because of his curiosity. -
Chapter 2 page 21
Dill leaves Jem and Scout making Sout very sad, but she soon becomes unsadend by the fact that she starts school. This is important because Scout likes to learn and it is a new adventure. -
Chapter 7, Pg. 77
Scout starts second grade, and so far, she doesn’t like it. Scout is a lot more advanced than pretty much all of her classmates, but she doesn’t seem to understand the outside world, her mind works more on what she can visually ready better than stereotypes. -
last day of school
She felt like the whole time while she at school , she learn nothing .She also felt like she learn more out of school than in school. -
Scout finds a piece f gum and chews it
Scout finds a piece of gum in a tree hole that Boo had left there. Scout chews the piece of gum, even though Jem thought it was poisonous. The figurative meaning is Boo is looking for a friend or a way to send a message. -
Indian Heads
Scout finds the Indian-heads. Jem tells Scout that the Indian-heads are good luck. The figurative meaning is Scout is trustworthy and she does the right thing. -
Tire Game hapter 4
When Jem and Scout were playing the tire game, scout rolled into the Radleys yard. ~Her brother try to rush her out of mr.radley yard like if she lock in cage with lions. -
Jem tries to tell Scout not to eat the gum
When jem try to tell scotts to not eat the gum from the tree in Mr. Radley's yard. if she did he will tell on her. -

Scout begins to feel left out as Dill and Jem's relationship develops.
She's drifitng away from the people she loves. -

People in the town of Maycomb believed that Boo Radley was crazy.
People thinking he's crazy makes him wanna stay in and ignore the world. -
Ch.6 pg.67
Dill’s last night in Maycomb. Jem, Scout, and Dill are trying to make the best of their last day together before Dill leaves. Scout will miss and be sad that Dill is leaving. -
Ch.6 pg.69
Jem and Dill have the idea of looking through the window to try to see Boo Radley. The kids feel afraid that they will be caught, but dispite that feeling they look through the window and their curiousity got the best of them. -
Ch. 6 pg. 71
Dill, Jem, and Scout's curiosity rises to a high level, which causes them to look through his window. They didn't have the urge to listen to Atticus and his rule of them not being allowed to go back. The kids feared seeing Mr. Radley, because they've never seen him before. The only see his shaawdow, and run away before he starts shooting. The kids also feared getting in troube again. -
Chapter 6 page- 72
Boo Radley chases the kids away with his shotgun, and on the run back Jem loses his pants trying to get through the bottom of a fence. -

The kids arrive home and are caught by Atticus, but they make up a lie. They tell him that they were playing strip poker by a fishpool. -

Jem goes back for his pants and gets them after he leaves them at Arthur's house when he was looking threw his window. -

Jem tells Scout that the night Jem went back to recover his pants, they were neatly folded and sewed, as if the person who did it was expecting him to come back -

Scout and Jem find medal from a spelling bee, and a broken watch. Jem kept the broken watch because he is mature enough to figure out that Arthur is communicating with Jem through the items he places in the knot-hole. -

Scout and Jem find dolls in the tree that look very much like themselves.
