  • Black Panther Party Itentions

The Black Panther Party was originally created to protect the community of Oakland from the rascist police, the groups reputation grew from the community itself. Eventually, the Black Panther Party became a new vioce in the Civil Right Movement. This showed that Seale and Newton had the audacity to stand up for what they believe in. I can relate to this because I also stand up for what I believe in.

This shaped the way the public thought and knew about the Party at the time, and help it's publicity grow. The book was published in 1970. I connected to this because I love to read and write, and I would want to do it even more if it could make a difference in equality.
