The rubber Vulcanization process was invented by Charles Goodyear, which led to the invention of rubber condoms in the 1850s. Condoms help prevent pregnancy and STDs. -

The first successful surgery with the use of anesthesia was in 1846. The surgery is well known as the Ether Dome. Anesthesia helps patients undergo surgery without stressing and feeling the pain. -

Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen studied electromagnetic radiation in a wavelengths, which eventually led to the X Ray machine. X Ray machines help us take pictures of dense tissue, such as bones or teeth. -

The discovery of penicillin was made by Alexander Fleming. Penicillin was the first discovery for antibiotics. Antibiotics are medicines that prevent and kill bacterial infections. -

The defibrillator was invented by William Kouwenhhoven in 1930. It delivers an electric current to the heart in life threatening situations. -
